Question: Is MOD Clean an EPA approved disinfectant?
Answer: Yes! Mod Clean is an EPA approved hospital grade disinfectant and is approved for use in all 50 US States.
Question: What does MOD Clean kill?
Answer: When mixed properly MOD Clean disinfectant pods kill HIV-1 (AIDS virus), Influenza A, Hepatitis B (HBV), Hepatitis C (HCV), E. Coli, Salmonella enterica, Streptococcus faecalis and many other pathogens that can lead to infection in humans. MOD Clean is also Fungicidal against pathogenic fungi.
Question: How do I use MOD Clean?
Answer: MOD Clean is easy to use, simply remove your disinfectant jar's lid, fill jar with water, drop 1 pod into your jar and replace it's lid submerging the disinfectant pod under water with the basket on the lid. After 20 seconds the pod and it's contents will dissolve, at this time lift the jars lid a couple times to thoroughly mix your disinfectant. You now have perfectly measured MOD Clean disinfectant. (To make 64 oz. add 2 pods, to make 1 gallon add 4 pods.)
Question: Do i tear the disinfectant pod open?
Answer: No, simply drop the whole MOD Clean pod in your disinfectant jar filled with water and it will dissolve completely.
Question: Does the disinfectant pod fully dissolve?
Answer: Yes, MOD Clean dissolves completely! After submerging one of our pods in water, it will dissolve in 20 seconds and within 2 minutes it is 100% water soluble.
Question: How many disinfectant pods come in a bag?
Answer: Each MOD Clean bag contains 32 disinfectant pods, each pod makes one standard sized disinfectant jar of disinfectant, giving you 32 individual doses in each bag.
Question: How often should you change your MOD Clean solution?
Answer: States laws require that you mix a fresh disinfectant solution daily in all containers used to disinfect brushes, combs, scissors and other implements. This is also true of any other disinfectant brand on the market.
Question: Is it anti-rust?
Answer: MOD Clean is safe to use on all of your tools but it does not container a anti-rust component. For best results when disinfecting metal or stainless steel implements follow these steps. 1. Clean implement removing any visible debris. 2. Submerge implements in MOD Clean solution for 10 minutes. 3. Remove from solution and dry thoroughly. Following these 3 easy steps will insure your implements are safe.
Question: To be disinfected at Hospital Grade level, is there a minimum amount of time the implements need to remain in the solution?
Answer: Yes, for proper disinfecting of any non-porous item a submersion time of 10 minutes is required
